Want to be part of our team? We need more volunteers!

Hebden Bridge Arts would not be possible without the support of our incredible volunteers. Volunteering is an amazing opportunity to see inside the organisation of our projects and events, meet artists and organisers, and be a creative cheerleader for us.
Volunteers Specification:
Passion for or appreciation of the arts in a vibrant community setting
An enjoyment of team working
Friendly and approachable
Confident communicator
Calm and dependable
Understanding of the local area
Keen to acquire new skills
Opportunity open to everyone over 16
Could you join the gang and support us in our new project, Open Space 70?
Each volunteering opportunity comes with a full briefing and is supported by staff and / or trustees. Most volunteer ‘shifts’ are 2-4 hours long, and you can give as little or as much time as you can spare over the year. Our main volunteer tasks are helping us with running events, workshops, walks or exhibitions, such as greeting people, looking after a stall, keeping an eye on art work, assisting people where needed and making sure everyone feels welcome, safe and has the information they need.
